French composer, organist and pianist, Alexandre Boëly (1785-1858) was born into a family of musicians. Having received musical education from an early age, Boëly led a successful career. His Organ works remain prominent within the instrument's repertoire.
The series of Boëly's Complete Works was assembled by Norbert Dufourcq and Brigitte François-Sappey. The third volume contains a variety of Boëly's most famous works, including Noels, Chorales and other compositions. For all advanced organists, Boëly's Organ works are an essential addition to the repertoire.
