French composer, organist and pianist, Alexandre Boëly (1785-1858) was born in to a family of musicians. Having received musical education from an early age, Boëly led a successful career. His Organ works remain prominent within the instrument's repertoire.
The series of Boëly's Complete Works was assembled by Amédée Gastoué, Norbert Dufourcq and Brigitte François-Sappey. The third volume contains six of Boëly's most famous works. For all advanced organists, Boëly's Organ works are an essential addition to the repertoire.
