This collection of songs is a complete delight. Each song is a gem and Reynaldo Hahn is all the way up there with the best, and his ability to evoke the mood of Venetian folksong - including Spanish influences - is uncanny. A must for any lover of early 19th c song!
The volume, while beautifully produced as a facsimile, is on the expensive side - however I loved all the songs, so it was worth it.
