Composed by Philippe Gaubert, Countryside Break (Intermède Champêtre) is a piece for Oboe and Piano accompaniment conceived for the Paris Conservatoire contest. Dedicated to Louis Bleuzet, this piece is perfect to demonstrate the range of skills acquired by intermediate/upper intermediate players.
