This is the perfect tutor for those who learnt the piano as a child/young person and has started to play again. No need to rattle through pages of scales and chords in the Hanon, these short 2 bar exercises will bring your technique back.

An excellent book. Seems like we are going back into the old way of teaching which was far better.

I teach adult beginners, most of whom quickly realize the weaknesses in hands and fingers. This slim volume offers all the exercises they will need to improve these weaknesses without being too prescriptive. One pupil would like to see text which tells you exactly what the exercise is trying to achieve and whether it works or not! This is not provided...

A good and comprehensive technique book. No gimmicks, just does what it sets out to do. Also a page of clear and sensible instructions as to how to get the best from the exercises.
