Very good for 4 part choir rather than 8 parts. Clear printing

The music is true to the original score for 2 choirs
the words often fall rather awkwardly because the arrangemen tries to remain true to the original harmonies.

A great joyful, bouncy, fun Christmas piece. Basically it's the 8 part version reduced down for 4 parts. My church choir have sung it effectively both with 'soloists' in the middle as marked, and tutti all through. We've enjoyed learning it and it's quite straightforward, except for the odd moment! If you don't have the forces for the 8 part, but want the same effect go for this.

I would highly recommend this piece for any SATB choir, superb arrangement. This edition is not quite as accessible as others (which are available in compilation editions of christmas choral pieces) but readability is still good.
