This book is great for young children who are getting to grips with their note names & durations. There are lots of activities to reinforce the concepts over & over for them. They can also have fun colouring in the pictures. A good basic theory book for those who are not yet ready for the more structured exam books. I've used it with pupils from age 6-8.

An excellent book for starting your younger children on the path to reading and understanding music. The games and exercies are well thought out and of the type to stimulate this age group. The book could be made more visually attractive by some judicious use of colour in the graphics.
