Simple pieces with very little movement from one five finger position. Nice tunes and easy rhythms. Really good for introducing the importance of counting timings and listening to the accompaniment.
Expensive for an early stages book compared with others.

Lovely pieces, very melodic. My little students love them, also because they are easy & provide quick studying satisfaction. Some of them happy & upbeat, and there is one very melancholic melody, The Old Song, all of them want to play over and over again. As the children improve, they can learn the primo part as well and teach the secondo to their family. Great stuff.

These duets are simple but very satisfying for the beginner, especially youngsters. The tunes are full of melody and, as confidence grows, the second part can be taught to friends or family quite easily. Highly recommended book!
