          Excellent book.

As a guitar teacher, I have found The Guitarist's Way series to be an excellent progressive learning method. On completion of Book 4 I consider my students will be sufficiently proficient to submit them for the Grade 2 Examination of Trinity Guildhall, and expect them to achieve a grade of at least a Merit.

A successful final book in the series with a good variety of styles and a beautiful (and actually quite simple)last piece. I use this series for those who mainly want to play from music and also for those that want to learn music reading alongside their tab and chord playing.

Book 4 of Nuttall and Whitworth's 4 book set. I have tried many guitar tutors over the years, and these are the best. A smooth progression of varied and enjoyable pieces. Although aimed at children, I have had success using these books with adults, too. Book 4, which culminates in pieces at Grade 2 level, develops pupils' confidence in higher positions, and introduces elements of improvisation.
