Richard Rodgers: Oklahoma! Theme (SATB)

Books | Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, Piano

Publisher: Williamson Music
Composer: Richard Rodgers
Format: Sheet Music | Vocal Work
A terrific version of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein's hit theme song to the musical Oklahama, arranged for SATB Choir and Piano by William Stickles. Written in 1943, Oklahoma was the first collaboration by Rodgers and Hammerstein who would become one of the most successful and creative musical writing teams. It was instantly a popular hit, partly as it started the trend for drama and plot within musicals, rather than simply songs.

This edition did not tie up with my set of
copies, which I had hoped to extend. The cover was exactly the same, and so were all other details of publisher, composer and voice allocations, but the contents were not compatible. l had no alternative but to return my purchased set.
