This book introduces skills in a fairly logical order but it was helpful to have a little musical knowledge to start with. It is written in a friendly style and appears to be "off the cuff" as it was printed exactly as he was talking or thoughts popped into his head. It is of a style very acceptable to someone with a musician's head!

This an excellent tutor. Pete Seeger, and his sister Peggy, have always been favourites of mine. This book makes it all easy to understand. In my opinion worth every penny.

Lovely tone. I've played Banjo for 50 years but gave my instruments away years ago. I'm starting again and finding it difficult. This a good one to get going with, and the right price for me.
