Good arrangement - slightly higher pitch for Soprano to reach a top Bb near the end. The lower version in Db is probably more comfortable. Clearly laid out too.

This is a lovely version of one of my favourite Christmas songs. Although it is not a difficult melody, it has a few moments that can catch you out the first time because they are different to the choir version. It is a long sing, and because of that fact and the high pitch, it is excellent for building stamina!

Perfect condition, and the accompaniment is not too hard!

O Holy Night by Adolphe Adam for Tenor voice has to be one of the most beautifully crafted song in the whole Christmas suite of praise. To sing it well requires excellent breath control, good vowels and placing but above all EMOTION. The three verses are like operatic arias on their own with the third verse having the high B flat ending. This is the climax of the piece so don't go singing it out too much in verses 1 and 2 otherwise there is no 'gas in the tank' for number 3.

It is a song that everyone can relate to and the English words capture the weary world in search of a saviour - and this was 150 years ago when it was written - nothing changes today.

A beautiful piece, straightforward piano accompaniment and a lovely soprano solo line, great for Christmas Carol Services and Concerts. Good clear edition and despatched quickly by Musicroom.
