Got this for a gig I am doing up in Scotland and wanted a few traditional Scottish songs. It certainly filled that function adequately - at a reasonable cost.
The accompanying CD is sorted into "song groups"making it a little difficult to find the one you want - especially as many are instrumentals which I was not familiar with

there were some songs I knew
      1. most of the songs I had never heard of
      2. accompanying music is only in right hand
      3. song on CD has only one verse before moving on to next song, no good for a sing-a-long

une bonne manière de connaitre de nombreuses chansons traditionnelles et de les apprendre avec texte et mélodie. on regrettera que certains extraits audio soient trop courts, c'est un peu frustrant.

Lovely book with CD but no LH treble clef, so only play RH. The book a little small for piano rest. It never said it was only RH in description so disappointed. Other than that it is nice book with lovely words

Good value collection with some great songs. The CD gives a verse or two of most of the songs and is well played with a variety of singers - definitely a bonus and useful for 'ear' players. My only slight niggle is that the font size is a tad small to read some of the dialect terms.
