Lots of choice. Nothing too strenuous. Easy piano accomp so far (we've started at the beginning and I don't know whether it gets harder)
          Not so far.

This is a wonderful book- classical pieces that can already be played after about one year of study. The piano makes it complete, but without, it is also fun. I am an adult beginner and do enjoy that this book comes without childish pictures.

I am working through Time Pieces for Cello -Volume 2 but I bought this book, on advice of my teacher, to improve my sightreading. It is brilliant (as is Volume 2), and I have enjoyed playing the simple pieces without help. However,I like traditional classical cello pieces but it maybe that youngsters (I am a VERY late starter), like something more modern.
