Franz Schubert: Sonata In A Minor 'Arpeggione' (Flute/Piano)

Books | Flute, Piano Accompaniment

Publisher: Zimmermann
Composer: Franz Schubert
Format: Sheet Music | Instrumental Album

Schubert's Sonata In A Minor, subtitled Arpeggione was written in 1824, and was inspired by an instrument invented by Mr. Georg Staufer, which Schubert referred to as an Arpeggione. The instrument was a mixture of a Guitar and a Cello, and was held between the knees like a Cello, but had frets on the fingerboard like a Guitar.

This edition of the work has been wonderfully arranged for Flute and Piano by Peter Lukas Graf.
