Polyrhythms are approached in a manner that is significantly different from most of the books and articles I have studied before to make it worth the read. The breakdown of some rhythms in subdivisions can be helpful in performing the easier polyrhthms ( like 2 against 3, 3 against 4 ) more precisely.

There are many actual exercises for practice to help one get a decent feel for executing various polyrhythms.
In my opinion, the performer is still left to come up with their own counting method or an approximate interpolation for executing the more complex polyrhythms. In this respect, the book has a limitation similar to other materials I have read for learning to perform polyrhythms (So perhaps this is just an intrinsic limitation that cannot be avoided).
