I bought this book primarily because it contained one particular piece I needed for my grade 7 piano exam bit find that I love ALL the compositions! Can't stop playing them. They-are a great mixture of lively, quirky, jazzy and moody. It isn't very often I buy a book of different pieces and find that I like them all!

This is a wonderful collection of jazzy pieces for someone around Grade 5 level. The harmonies are gorgeous.

Interesting Jazz piano pieces in a selection of styles that are challenging and complicated enough to engage the adult learner but not so difficult that they can't be mastered. Glad to see that a new cover has dropped the designation 'for young players'

A good set of pieces in this book each of 2 or 3 pages and well set out. Range from about Grade 5 -6. Fun to play and make good listening. Ideal for older students who enjoy jazzy styles.

I have just started a Gr 4 pupil on this: he is 30, and just returned to piano after a 15 yr break. He only ever got classical pieces from his teacher back then, and loves this as something different. The 2 composers combine originality with obvious awareness of what works on the piano. Influences are Gershwin, Kern, Porter and boogie woogie. I love 'em!

Excellent intermediate jazz book. Willie Wagglestick's Walkabout used to be an ABRSM grade 7 piece.

Very good intro to Jazz. I ordered the book after it was played by the piano teacher. My youngest picked up the booked and soon "Wagglestick's Walkabout" (it turned out to be an old ABRSM grade 7 piece) was being played!

I am delighted with these pieces. They offer a range of jazzy music. Not far out, but some lovely melodies and harmonies.
