Jimmy Brown. Here's a book geared specially to the needs of younger beginners. From picking up the guitar for the first time to power chords to easy blues solos, it's all here and it's all written in an easy-to-understand style for kids ages 10-14.
Tab and Music notation are both used, so you can pick which suits your kids best. The exercises are short and fun: the children love them. The exercises aren't all in order of difficulty: if your pupils start finding things tough, you can always start another topic. One thing I thought needed more practise exercise was switching strings, as this is often a problem area. Anonymous
