Although this has the "bones" of the 18th variation I was a little disappointed as it is by no means as full a version that I owned many years ago which has sadly been lost.

I find this an unfaithful and rather simple transcription of the variation. First, the key is transposed down a semitone into the easier D major and then the actual music as a whole is oversimplified.

This is a very hard piece of music to find in its original format. Musicroom have done it! Quite simply a must have piece.

This arranged version of Rachmaninoff's 18th Variation is extremely "oversimplified." The key is changed completely, all notes are moved down a semitone due to this transposition and the orchestra's part is incorporated into the score. If you are looking for the original piano part, this is not it.
This is for those learning to play the piano, not those seriously looking to play professionally.
