The book won't stay open on the piano without forcing the spine. This is a common fault with large music books. Ring-bound style is easier to cope with.

Everyone in family liked this book and knew or thought they knew most of the songs. Only thing I would mention as a negative is that there is no fingering.

This is an excellent collection of songs, simply arranged and easy to play. Very useful - especially this year with all the commemorations of the outbreak of WWI.

This is a very well laid-out book, the manuscript and lyrics are clear and easy to read. The playing level is generally about grade three. This allows a lot of less accomplished pianists access whilst giving more experienced pianists chord progression etc. to work around. As to the tune selection, whilst there were a lot of pieces I hadn't heard of most I had - which is unusual in this type of book.

Absolutely perfect for finding songs to play for a sing-song. Some of the arrangements are fairly basic but this made it easier to improvise to. Well worth the money.

Have come back to singing 30+ years since having lessons (!), and had got rid of all my old sheet music. Am very satisfied with the speed of delivery and with your web site. Would find it most useful to be able to see a sample of a page of the music in the songbooks.

I loved this book with all the familiar tunes. It will give me great, long hours of piano practice and so much pleasure.

A good item to have in your music collection. This is my second copy I have owned as I misplaced my original one during a house move.

Very pleased with this! Lots of songs I remember from old, sort of traditional English folk songs I suppose. Most are easy to play but sound good, now All I need is someone willing to sing along!
