This book is not just a one trick pony (Hotel California), I have found half a dozen titles readily playable, and as a beginner that is what I'm after.
Although the tunes are chord based (aren't most guitar songs?) I have been informed that those I have played are recognisable, which is what it's all about, is it not?
John Byrom - (Bolton, England)
I found this title very disappointing. The songs are in no way as recorded and the tablature would not challenge a two day old guitar player. Considering Hotel California is probably the best guitar track in the world, the books rendition is a sad chord based strumming rubbish. Do not buy this book unless you have a very good imagination as this book will bring you no closer to playing Hotel California.
