I like good quality
The musical arrangements are well set out. The content is extensive with interesting information at the front about the history of Ivor Novello, his life , career and output plus background to the songs in chronological order. Altogether a splendid album containing fifteen songs from the seven revues . I would recommend this song book to anyone who loves the music of that era.

An outstanding volume which I have owned for thirty years - marvellous harmonies to delight an up-and-coming pianist. A wonderful composer who badly needs to be rediscovered! Anonymous

This is a marvelous collection of Ivor Novello songs. All are eminently playable by someone of intermediate ability. He was a master of lush, complex harmony, making even an old chestnut like "Keep the Home Fires Burning" powerfully emotional. Novello was a prolific composer, and while most of his best (or at least best-known) songs are in this book, I would love to see a Volume Two published! Anonymous
A useful collection of Novello songs, together with
