This is a really good book that provides a good progression as you work through the book. The pieces are not too difficult and my guitar tutor also states they are an excellent book for learning guitarists.

I have had this book for about 4 years I have vol 3 and have just bought vol 2. I learned guitar as teenager and came to it in my 30's having picked up this series. It is excellent. The music is varied comprising good classical type pieces from the last four hundred years and it presents a variety of challenges to the experienced as well as the learning player. I have had hours of pleasure with these pieces and it is an excellent series. Thoroughly recommended and great value for money.
