It's the diagrams that do this book justice. I respond quicker (in learning) to seeing the fretboard diagrams and as slide stuff is usually in different tunings, you do appreciate seeing the differences to the fretboard scale-patterns (to those standard patterns that you've been learning since day-one).
Nothing serious really. Could have done with a little more content......but that's just been nit-picking.

This is a great book for beginners. It has examples of the major scale and the minor pentatonic scale both in open position and at the 12th fret. You also get some tunes to play and some information about standard tuning. Like I've said it's a pretty basic book, nice for beginners that want to get into slide guitar.
