This is one of the best bass books I've picked up in a long time. They have several examples of each style. They also have many backing tracks on the recording so you can play along. (Which came in very handy since these rhythms are so complex.) The recording is first rate. I can play it on my boom box and hear every note of the bass. With a lot of other instructional recordings they tend to mix the bass so hot it just comes out as a buzz. If you like Latin music, grab this book. This is the most fun I've had in a long time.
