Good either for those approaching grade 1 who need something different to play, or for those who have just done the exam and need some fun and fairly easy pieces to play as light relief.
One or two odd pieces that don't appeal much to the kids.

This is a fantastic book with lots of amazing pieces that my son who is learning to play the piano loved to play every day, a great book for beginners.

This, as all the books in this series, provides the young (& even not so young) pupil pieces of manageable length, and various styles. I have used some of the pieces as "own choice" pieces in the ABRSM Prep Test, and all the pupils enjoy them. O'Reilly's Whistle, and Mission Impossible are particular favourites with the boys!

As a piano teacher I have found this series of piano tutors to be a valuable resource. Each level has a range of differenct styles from classical to jazzy. They have provided my pupils with a good stepping stone between grades and a chance to enhance their repertoire while enjoying themselves.

An excellent book for children working towards grade 1. My son absolutely loves the pieces which are very accessible and written in a variety of styles and characterisations. Once mastered, he plays them repeatedly. First rate.

Some are harder than grade one so I use this once my pupils have done LCM step two or trinity initial exam as a way to relax and work towards grade one abrsm

Some nice pieces that are not too difficult. Useful to supplement a tutor book for pupils who are approaching grade 1.

Catchy tunes that youngsters will enjoy playing, especially 'Make Way For the King'. A good link between ABRSM prep test and Grade 1.

Keeps youngsters interested and acts as a very good relief to more serious piano music.

Great book to fill in the gap between tutor books and moving on to exam pieces. My pupils love the pieces and they often play one as their own choice piece for the ABRSM Preparatory Test.
