A good alternative to the ABRSM grade 6 theory book. Lots of harmony exercises to bridge the gap between grades 5 & 6.

Clearly set out, in a logical & progressive order, with a very informative index.
There are lots of practice exercises & questions, a far more generous supply than in the abrsm workbooks.
Serious misprint on page 80 , ex. (h) bassoon : the key signature should have THREE flats, not 2 : it's the Elephant from "Carnival of Animals".

I am a bit disappointed with this book. There is insufficient information and explanation and no answers to the exercises. Having said that, I have yet to find a grade 6 theory book that is better. They all assume a level of knowledge that I don't have, that's what I want to acquire! If you have the knowledge and understanding, have some one to mark your work and just need to do the exercises, then it's great. It is clearly laid out and a quality book to use.
