          Musicroom Reviews

A great addition to the advanced saxophone repertoire. It was originally written for two pianos but was transcribed by the composer and really suits the saxophone. The first movemment is on the ABRSM GRade 8 list and most of my pupils really love it. It has some challenging passages of finger work in tricky key signatures, but is most enjoyable. The final movement is fantastic and is an ideal showy concert piece!

A really nice piece of music. The Finale is really funky and fun to play, and while the Samba Triste (which is a G8 piece) doesn't grab you so quickly it really grows on you, and while tricky in places is also quite playable!
