We are singing 5 works from this, and they are becoming very popular. The carols in the compilation are a broad mixture and are listed alphabetically by country. Included is the Huron carol, which may be familiar, but also some beautiful new discoveries. The Japanese 'Infant joy' is actually a William Blake poem set to a lovely lilting melody, and was written especially for the volume since there is no real carol tradition in Japan.
