Very easy to understand and ideal for beginners. Certainly the best book I have used compared to two others I tried.

I am a fairly advanced clarinet student (beyond book 2!)and have used many tutors. The two "Tune a Day" books in my mind are by far the best. They do not merely help students to play nice little tunes, but right from the start emphasize correct technique, theory, musicality and styles. This approach permeates the entire book - both books are a joy to own.

Excellent starter book. I find the pace and detail of the lessons ideal and easy to follow. I bought this as I already had the saxophone version.

Swift delivery at Christmas, book has loads of pieces my daughter can play, she is very pleased with it. Would recommend book and company.

I'm an adult beginner and I'm finding this book immensely helpful as a first primer. It starts at the beginning with how to put your clarinet together and how to hold it and blow it. I found getting a note a real challenge at first. My teacher has been going through the book with me and we've found it sets a good pace. The CD is very useful. It's helped me to check my sight reading and it's great to be able to play along with it. I do find it tends to go at a slightly faster pace than I can manage sometimes. The tunes are OK but not always the most fun. I've just got to where there is a frustratingly tiny snippet from Nessun Dorma! I've been using The Complet Clarinet Player Book 1 as a source of additional tunes. I use it every day and it has been a huge help in getting me started.
