The CD is really helpful, and the photos are an excellent aid. The music is clear and other directions easy to understand. A new student recently came with the unrevised edition of this book, and I was amazed at the difference...and that a music shop still stocked it!

As a teacher, I greatly appreciate the stress-free approach of this book, but above all, I like the way that student and teacher are playing duets together (albeit really simple ones) from the start. It has the inclusive effect that new learners need. I just love it, and stipulate its purchase by all of my students.

I find this an excellent book. I use it for teaching a group of adult beginners along with clarinetists and it works extremely well.
