I've been playing for a year now and this is easily the best tutor book of Clapton's material I have seen so far. The book caters for a wide range of levels, from basic with the very easy to read chord boxes right up to the accomplished soloist with all of the instantly recognisable and unforgettable riffs clearly laid out in tab.
The backing CD is a great bonus and is just as good to listen to as a CD as well as playing along with to the backing tracks.

Generally well laid out but the notation in some of the songs is not consistent with the explanations at the front Anonymous

I've been playing the guitar 'adequately' for many years now, but have never found such an easy to follow (and rewarding) learning cd-book combo as this, both for me and my teenage daughter. I also liked the accompanying notes for each track. The first track for tuning up was also very useful. The backing tracks allow you to play along with a 'real' band. How about one on Buddy Holly next?!

Really Easy. Great selection of songs on this compilation, backed up with some great sounding backing tracks. This edition follows the format of the really easy guitar! books, going from basic three chords to some more adventurous shapes, so works as a skill development tool too!! add to that small snippets of info about the songs so all in all a great intro to playing like clapton! petit recueil type format de poche, beaucoup de texte et tout en anglais. ça n'est pas du tout un manuel d'exercices mais plutôt une entrée dans le monde de Clapton (photos, anecdotes, histoire, et bien sûr guitare).une sorte de "méli mélo" avec un peu de tout... Anonymous
