A good selection and some easy arrangements. A huge book for a good price.
      The downside?
The book is really hard to keep open.
I have two copies and on both you have to press down hard on the hinge of each page before it will stay open.
      Very annoying.

Good selection of well arranged pieces by significant composers
The book is so difficult to keep open on the piano music stand I would have to break it's spine binding at every page Alternatively every page would have to be separated, holes punched, and put them in a ring binder.

This book contains a nice collection of pieces, starting from about grade 1-2; late elementary. The problem is that is does not indicate finger settings.

I can't play well enough yet but I'm going to enjoy this book. There's loads of extra info in the back - glossary of music terms, diagram of piano keyboard with named notes and position of middle C, a composers' index as well as a contents index - all this added to some beautiful pieces to learn. I'm so looking forward to being able to master these! I think it's not for absolute beginners though and that is why I have not given it five stars.

I am very pleased with this book, it has a wide variety of pieces at different levels, so some I will be playing now and some I will practice to achieve. Most are well known so you know what the timing should be. I would reccomend it to anyone to play for enjoyment or to improve skills.

Both if these books have an excellant range of numbers to play. I am very pleased with them both and an slowly working my way through them. My music teacher is most impressed with the selection of music.
