Not a bad book of some old favourites from Metallica, highlights include such solo's and songs as 'welcome home (Sanitarium)'. However this book seems to lack in certain places, it doesn't include all of the solos and fill-ins for the guitar, and on certain songs this seems to ruin the feel of it. It is good for the average guitarist, or those who wish to learn the basic tune to the songs, but a more detailed book is needed to play all the solo's as they are performed. The CD is useful to gain the idea of how to play, but is actually a bit faster in tempo than the songs from the albums. Overall, a good book to learn the basic tunes to the Metallica songs, however probably not one of the best books available, yet good for beginner/intermediate guitar players wanting to learn Metallica songs, and a bit of thought and it is possible to work out the rest anyway.
