Hansel and Gretel is another super pantomime from Nick Cornall, suitable for performance all year round in any primary school. Two children, abandoned in a wood, come upon a gingerbread house occupied by a witch, who has designs on eating them! But as with all Nick Cornall's pantomimes, things are not quite what they seem...The witch is urged to update herself, and her edible cottage includes sodium monoglutomate! There are delightful woodland animals, a wicked stepmother, a woodman father, and a robust police constable. Musicroom Reviews

This is a witty pantomime with characters speaking in rhyming verses. Easy to follow lay-out, I adapted the play to make it shorter but as the lines rhyme it would be easy to learn as it is.

Great panto. We did it with our Key Stage 2. They found the songs catchy and the script so easy to learn as it's all in rhyme. There are a few twists on the original tale so be prepared for them to forget the original version!
