As a horn player of some years, I quite enjoyed this title. The 13 titles, such as Back to the Future, An American Symphony and Mission Impossible are enjoyable to play and the arrangements are quite well done on orchestral sounding synthesisers. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.
Two constructive comments I would make is the constant presence of vibraphone on the melodic line - not always needed in my view although I would accept that an inexperienced player would find this very helpful. Secondly, it seems that the melody is written down the octave for safety unnecessarily on occasions. It would be better to provide an ossia 8ve part. If you are an aspiring Grade IV or V player or above - buy it!
One other point - please can we have more titles for the HORN! I think it is good also to have two CDs, one with and one without the melodic instrument like 20 Jazz Greats for the Trumpet.
