A collection of the psalms, canticles, litany, and responses at the holy communion, together with a lengthy introduction containing practical instructions, a discussion on the principles of pointing and an explanation of the method of chanting.
Edited by Briggs & Frere. As far as I am aware, the only Plainsong book of psalms still in print, and excellent for regular use of BCP Anglican psalms.

This book, the plainsong manual, contains all the psalms plus morning/evening canticles in plainchant. On that basis this book is good value for money. The print, though on the small side, is readable. The one downside to this book is that it will not stay open on a music desk/stand unless you are prepared to break the spine, which I have not done as copies which have had the spine broken have large numbers of loose pages which is never good in what is supposed to be a book!
