One of the earlier editions in this excellent series that set the standard for later editions.

Good choice and balance. Pleasant to play with plenty of room to add personality to the pieces.

I am very pleased with Great Piano Solos - The Blue Book. The pieces are not for the beginner but they are all popular and vary in difficulty so some can be sightread whilst others need working on. I am getting a lot of pleasure out of playing them and hope to be able to purchase further books in the series in due course.

A good selection. Perhaps suggestions on fingering would be helpful.

I purchased this book after seeing it in a music shop. There were a couple of scores I wanted to learn to play, but I didn't purchase the book at the time. When I got home I wished I had purchased the book whilst I had the chance. I placed an internet order with musicroom the same day. The music is at my level of play with easy to read print. The only drawback is that the pages do not stay open on the music stand on my piano unless you fold the pages back really far. This may eventually cause the pages to fall out...time will tell. Other than that, really good.

A great selection of all sorts, and at a level that suits me, not your Grade 8+ stuff, but something that you can get your teeth into (with full chords and rich harmonies in the arrangements) ....they give you a bit of a challenge. i.e some you'll have to practise to get right! And also, due to the Print-out facility, I was pretty sure that what I was ordering was ideal for my standard of play. P.S. The Red Book's just as good too!
