As a Bass player, scales will be no stranger to you. You'll likely be used to practicing them up and down in different sequences and in different keys to improve your chops, but do you really know how to apply them in a musical way?

With the Bassist's Guide To Scales Over Chords, you'll learn how these two topics are intertwined in a logical and fundamental manner. This key concept is paramount in learning how to create and improvise functional and memorable Bass lines or solos reliably time and again.

If you're stuck in a root-note rut or find yourself always coming back to the same old tired patterns, this book is for you. It includes 136 audio tracks and 17 extended backing tracks for download or streaming online.

If like me you are stuck in root, 3rd and 5th this book is a complete eye opener,
also if you think you know your scales and inversions i would get this book to learn them again.
        Very good book
One thing most of these type of book does not recognise is when you have a picture of the fret board they are always in right hand mode and when you are left handed like myself they take a bit of sorting out
