Beautifully crafted vocal lines, and it's great to have something that can be programmed alongside Britten's "Abraham and Isaac. I haven't performed this yet, but I'm learning it. The publication is very clearly laid out, none of the composer's intentions need to be guessed at.
Not bad points as such, but be aware that this music won't suit everyone. The piano part is quite difficult, and the two singers will need to have a combination of solo and choral training, because so much depends on their being able to blend to sound like one voice.
