        Easy to read

        Far too basic. Didn't address why music is only an approximation to the sound produced.
        Patronising tone
        Inaccurate rhythms
        Very Eurocentric and piano orientated.
        Nothing on phrasing or style.
        Inspite of saying that American naming of notes would be given - no mention of eighth notes in the quaver section.
