Hot Keys Piano Tutor - Book 2, by Sarah Watts and Rebecca Holt, is a colourful and contemporary new Piano method that combines good technique with fun and imagination.

Improvisation and creativity are encouraged from the start, with duets throughout the book to introduce ensemble playing. Although aimed at students from seven years upwards, the up-beat pieces and approach make Hot Keys Piano Tutor - Book 2 just as suitable for the older beginner.

Teacher and pupil parts are both available on the CD and MP3 backing tracks, which also include a rhythm section.

Playing along with the CD really encourages my pupils to practice and enhances their enjoyment as well as their ability to develop their rhythm skills.
The material covers most of what is needed to prepare for G1.
Not all the pieces have a 'play along' accompaniment.

Great to inspire learners who maybe strugglng with more traditional stuff . Quick wins for being able to play "jazzy" tunes immediately
