          There is some useful repertoire for a limited range.
          There is no point keeping everything at pitch in the treble clef if it means you are constantly reading in 3 or 4 ledger lines. All of these pieces would work better in treble clef octava bassa or even bass clef, and getting used to these clefs would be a useful skill for the pupil to gather as his voice settled.
