My pupils like the clarity and open space on the page. It is landscape so sits well on a music stand and most tunes are familiar.

I like that it isn't cluttered with the childish figures so I can use it for pupils of all ages and I can teach in my own way.
I bought in a 50% sale for just under £5, making full price nearer £10 which is quite a lot for a pupil to pay.

I usually teach using CD's. This book is used to supplement my teaching as the tunes (whilst well known) have to be learned from the notation. Vauable sight reading. Only drawback is the seris only goes up to grade two additional books to grade five wold be great.
