I bought this because it contains a simplified version of the Barcarolle in F sharp, which I have been searching for for years. I will never be able to master the original (loadsa notes and accidentals all over the place!), but as it one of my favourite Chopin pieces, this is the next best thing. (Potential buyers, please be aware that the equivalent intermediate book, Chopin Gold: The Essential Collection, does not contain the Barcarolle.)

There are other little gems in this - the Berceuse and an extract from the second movement of the 1st Piano Concerto.
Personally, I don't have any use for the included CD, but those not familiar with the pieces might find it helpful.

Good selection of pieces and great introduction to Chopin. Easy arrangements and great for sight reading practise.
It's a pity that some of the keys have been changed from the original just to make it easier.
