    Some helpful background information.
    No clear explanations, especially of symbols. Far too many assumptions.
    It focusses almost entirely on Ottoman oud-playing and what I needed was Arabic, especially Iraqi. This was not stated in the blurb.
    Clear guidance needs to be given on accidentals and the method of realising the studies which was lost on me and I am a professional musician and teacher with a degree and diplomas in music.
    The pictures of the pick/plectrum were useless too.
