The pieces inside are vey clear and easy to read.
The book is a bit weak in quality, could do with stronger material.

      Musicroom Reviews

I have purchased these books for my students who are starting Grade one next year. The music book contents have changed from playing to other exercises. I think more content on chord changes and rhythms should have been put into this book. Having said that some nice have been included. If you want to do your Keyboard Grade 1 exam you have to have this book.

I think the pieces in here are on the hard side for Grade 1. They're long, and full of dotted rhythms and chord changes, which will put some pupils off. However I'm glad LCM have changed the keyboard syllabus after 7 years (no more Ode to Joy) and You're the Hero looks like a fab piece, I shall enjoy teaching that one.
