Has all the scales etc needed
only has scales in tab format, was hoping for scale diagrams/patterns. These would've been really useful

The book does not really seem to add much over an above what you get in the grade books so I'm a little disappointed with it. Still if you are desperate for more Rockschool exercises this may be the right choice for you and you get to see how grade 1 exercises compare with grade 8.

Get little guide. Straight to the point. In great condition and printed to a high standard of quality. only thing that lets it down is minor typos.

This book contains numerous examples of the technical exercises necessary for sitting the Rockschool exams. This will keep you focused on learning the scales, chords, apeggios so that you're ready when exam day arrives. All printed out clearly to follow plus a CD to practice with in the usual Rockschool fashion.
