A good choice of pieces for my teenage pupils. They really enjoy them and they are playable without being too simple.

One or two of these let the side down. Although the pieces are designed for early students the harmonies and notes sometimes sound wrong when compared to the real composition. Maybe these are too simplified. Will admit CD is really useful for learning as it sets the pace for the student.

Some excellent simplified arrangements of film music in this book. I enjoyed playing "Over The Rainbow" and "Goldfinger" (which sounds good). A good variety of simplified older and more modern film music. A highly recommended book.
