The book is easy to read and the selection of pieces are interesting and well printed.
I think the accompanying CD is a waste of time and quite off putting. I feel it would have been more useful, for a learner to have been able to hear the pieces instead of a mish-mash of backing. No doubt you will feel that that would have invited busking but my view is that it would have given the student something to aim for.
